The Wave Never Stops!

Unstoppable Wave

The Acts of the Apostles has a cliffhanger ending, with Paul preaching the gospel in Rome. Luke didn't write about Paul's mission to Spain or his tragic martyr's death. The ending of the book would make more sense if it were more aptly named the Acts of the Spirit. It wasn't about the apostles after all, it was about the Spirit of God working through the apostles, and that work continues to this day. Pastor Levi Matteson wraps up our sermon series the Unstoppable Wave with an overview of Acts 27 and 28, challenging us to be a conduit for the Acts of the Spirit.

Scripture References: Acts 27:1-44, Acts 28:1-31

Good news travels quickly. In the book of Acts, Jesus’ disciples gathered and set a wave of hope that has continued to gain momentum for centuries. His message is unstoppable. And believe it or not, there are parts of this earth that still haven’t heard the Good News. But He’ll continue using His people to build His Church until everyone who seeks hope is washed over by the Unstoppable Wave of the Gospel.
