CloseOne year ago, storm clouds gathered on the Saturday before Father's Day. Could anyone have anticipated what would happen the next day? Some woke to the disaster, some discovered it on their way to church, and others saw pictures on Facebook. The disaster showed us that we were #coppercountrystrong. The response was quick and efficient. Disaster relief experts said they'd never seen a community so capable, so engaged, in its ability to recover. We still see some of the scars today, and some losses will never be recovered. Jon Stone helps us remember the Father's Day Flood of 2018. The Scripture text is from Luke 12:13-21. This is a podcast from Evangel Church on June 16, 2019.
