Gary Kruzich
Goalie Gary Kruzich had the world by the tail after propelling Bowling Green Hockey to win the 1984 national championship in his freshman year. He was the MVP that year, and he went on to have an incredible college career, and then he played for Team USA and was slated for the '88 Olympics. On the verge of going pro with a major-league team, it all came to an end, sending him to a dark place.
