Wave Breakers

Wave Breakers

What is the nature of unbelief? The Sadducees were the attempted wave breakers of the gospel. They were greatly annoyed by what Peter and John were saying, but they were astonished because these two were unschooled, ordinary men. They took note that these men had been with Jesus, and they were standing there with a man who had been crippled from birth. They couldn't deny it. The facts are there. Yet their hearts were hard. Pastor Levi continues in the Unstoppable Wave by helping us understand the nature of unbelief. It often goes beyond fact into something that is much deeper. The Scripture text for today is Acts 4:1-20. This is a podcast of Evangel Church, Houghton Michigan, Sunday, July 22, 2018.

Scripture References: Acts 4:1-20

From Series: "Unstoppable Wave"

Good news travels quickly. In the book of Acts, Jesus’ disciples gathered and set a wave of hope that has continued to gain momentum for centuries. His message is unstoppable. And believe it or not, there are parts of this earth that still haven’t heard the Good News. But He’ll continue using His people to build His Church until everyone who seeks hope is washed over by the Unstoppable Wave of the Gospel.
