God with Us

An Easter story for Christmas Advent? Of course, because what better way to illustrate who he is than to show his humanity in the Garden of Gethsemane. Pastor Levi continues in our Christmas Advent series, God with Us, with the story of how Jesus met us in our fear. The Scripture text is Mark 14:32-42. This is a podcast of Evangel Church, Houghton, Michigan, on December 10, 2017.

Scripture References: Mark 14:32-42

From Series: "God with Us"

The birth of Jesus is a tangible message that God wants to dwell with humanity. In spite of the messes of our world, God chooses to come, and pursue us, and show us His goodness. In this Christmas Advent series, we look at how Jesus is with us, how He has shared our experience, He knows our weakness and limitations, our fear and dependence. He knows our suffering and pain. Through God’s presence with us, we find hope and courage to follow Him with all we are.
