Unpack your Backpack

Winter Storm Warning

Most people who die in the wilderness are found with unopened backpacks that contain all of the essentials they would have needed to survive.

Continuing in our sermon series Winter Storm Warning, Pastor Levi Matteson talks about surviving spiritual storms. The Scripture text is from 1 Peter 1: 3-12.

This podcast episode from Evangel Community Church, Houghton, Michigan, January 16, 2022.

Scripture References: 1 Peter 1:3-2

From Series: "Winter Storm Warning"

A Copper Country day can start out unseasonably warm with sun shining on your face, but then an hour later, Winter Storm Warning! The temperature drops, and damp Lake Superior air permeates every layer of clothing. The cold weakens your vehicle's battery, and if you can make it past the snow berm at the end of your driveway, blinding snow and ice make the roads impassable. What do you do? You survive!

In this series, we look at the warnings and survival necessities found in First Peter.
