Facing Life's Floods

Transitions

Do you remember monumental events of your parents' life? The important events of your grandparents' life? No. We are a nation that forgets. But after crossing the Jordan, the Israelites were instructed to pull stones from the river and create a monument to remember what God had done for them. We often forget how God works in our lives. And then when times get tough, it's hard to remember that he was ever with us. Pastor Levi continues the sermon series Transitions with the Scripture text Joshua 3 & 4. This is a podcast of Evangel Church, Houghton, Michigan, on October 15, 2017.

Scripture References: Joshua 3:1-17, Joshua 4:1-24

From Series: "Transitions"

Transitions happen in life. We eagerly await graduation from school. Marriage. Children. But other transitions are dreaded. In any case, we reach a new normal, but sometimes our hopes don't match with reality. In this sermon series, we'll trace Joshua's appointment to leadership to see how he manages the ups and downs of his new normal.
